About Me
I have lots of names. I do my best to not have my real name floating around the web, for privacy reasons.
I am listed here on Blogspot as Historia, which is short for Bibliohistoria. That is the name of the very first Blog I started way back in 2007. As you can see from my profile, I have several other blogs on various topics as well.
I also use the name Francesca Thomas, for my website, for Facebook, for Twitter and for Pinterest.
I was born and raised in New Zealand, but have lived in Toronto, Canada for the last 14 years. I married a Canadian and this year, 2015, our son will turn 13 years old, and going into Grade 8.
I love reading books, and I love writing as well. I was taught to read when I was 4 years old, and I have not stopped since. The only thing that has changed is that I can no longer read paper or hard copy books.
Now I do most of my reading online. You'll have to blame my husband for that. He brought me a Kobo e-reader for Xmas 2012 and I have been hooked on reading e-books ever since.

I admire the fact you read ebooks. I've read a couple and just can't get into it. I want the book in my hand...too old to adapt, I guess! :)
ReplyDeleteThe main reason I switched to e-books is because my eyes are not doing too well. The focus seems to be changing and I can no longer hold a book up close to see the print. Now I have to hold it out at arms length and the books are often too heavy for that. My Kobo e-reader is a lot lighter to hold, plus I can adjust the size of the print. You cant do that with hard copy books!!
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, I have also joined the NON FICTION reading challenge and half of my books on that list are hard copy books. Books I have purchased and never read!!!
Thanks for your comment!!!
